Carbon Emission Inventory Model for Deteriorating Goods with Price Dependent Demand and Payment Delay

Abstract

In today's corporate management environment, environmental awareness is a worldwide concern, and there has been a lot of study on the subject. Since greenhouse gas pollutants are one of the main causes of global warming, it is critical to become worried about limiting carbon dioxide productivity. In light of social and environmental changes, organizations are dealing with the carbon emission.System design is extensively facilitated by environmental reviews, which reduce undesirable ecological effects while improving good financial and social outcomes. In this paper we have developed an EOQ model that incorporates the deterioration of products with time dependent deterioration and price dependent demand. The study evaluated the replenishment strategy in light of permissible delay in payment. This study aims to determine the minimum average cost based on two different scenarios. In order to strengthen the proposed structure even further, a mathematical implementation has been developed. Additionally, an analysis of sensitivity has been carried out with the various parameters with the objective of figuring out the model's sustainability.
